Back To Tradition

The Bassac boats are built of wood according to the tradition of the rice barges of the Mekong Delta, with amendments where safety standards require.

Bassac II and Bassac III are entirely new hull designs, more adapted to their present purpose, they were built with the same craftsmanship and according to the same tradition.

The Cabin

The cabins have air-conditioner and en-suite bathroom. The access to outside is immediate.

You might opt for a double-bedded or a twin-bedded cabin for your trip.

The Crew

We have been delivering excellent tailored services for the past 18 years and we understand just what weary customers need to wind down. The Bassac River Retreat, launched in 2022, is the evolution of the Bassac Cruises.
